Well, I’m done the last classroom cycle in school, and done my portfolio project. You do it in pieces, one assignment each cycle. Here’s the bits with pretty pictures. (I didn’t think anyone needed to read my resume, or the boring letters and whatnot they make you put in.)
The text probably won’t interest you much (Who really wants to read someone blather on about their experience on the salon floor and why they want to be a hair stylist for a school assignment?) but check out the photos! I’m proud of them.

Yes, the NAHA after party is the only thing under events I’ve attended… We had to include ticket stubs from events and show, but I threw all mine out! That’s the only one I had left!

Hey, I’m a graphic designer and photographer, as well a cosmetology student and stumbled on your blog through another forum site. I was looking at your portfolio pieces and I think they are really awesome! I have one suggestion (even though i know it’s a school assignment and you are probably happy to just be done with it) you should use a more expressive font…i was reading some of your posts and I think it would really help bring out your personality if you tried it…just a suggestion.
So I am in the process of putting my portfolio together and was curious which program you used for yours??
Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, they’re what I use for just about everything. Thanks for reading my blog!
