After seeing the end bits of this video, I HAD to try doing something like that. My teacher thinks it was airbrushed on with a stencil.
Here are some of my tries. I experimented with a variety of different application techniques, and draped the wefts across my lovely assistant to grab some photos.

Not a hair student, but stuff like this intrigues the hell out of me…So yeah, I would totally get this done to my hair if I found someone offering it. I like the style in the video with the transparent curtain of hair only a few hairs thick… These people’s creativity sort of pisses me off.
Can you airbrush using hair dye?
